FAQ for Mini Goldendoodles and Other Puppies
Waiting List
To get on the “waiting list” it take a $450 non refundable deposit. The deposit goes towards the total amount due for the puppy. Picking is determined by the order I receive deposits. Picking is started at 2-3 weeks. I have one “waiting list” for all my puppies. If there isn’t a puppy available that you are looking for once it’s your time to pick the deposit is transferable to another litter. Once a specific puppy is picked the deposit is no longer transferable.
Please, understand the deposit is non refundable under any circumstance. We don't really have an application we just ask that you do your own research and make sure a puppy(obviously we are open to questions) is for you and that you want a puppy from us before placing a deposit. When I “project” next litters. That is only educated guesses. Dogs don’t always cycle at the exact same time. So please know that deposits are non refundable and I expect you to do your homework before placing a deposit.

What do Rocky Ridge Acres puppies come with?
Our puppies are all updated on vaccine and de-worming when they are ready to go home at 8 weeks of age. At 6 weeks we always vet check them. I always send a small bag of Exclusive Puppy Food they are on. I also rehome my puppies to pet home only with a Health Guarantee and a Spay/Neuter Contract. (see below.)
Things a new dog owner may need.
Crate with a divider
Dog food
I send home a small Ziploc® bag of the dog food your puppy is one when we have it (Exclusive Puppy Food). Some other good brands of food are:
Food and water dish
Chew toys
Leash and collar or harness
Grooming utensils
- Divider to make the crate smaller when the puppy is smaller. It is easier to crate train your puppy when the puppy only has enough room to lay down comfortably and turn around. The reason for this is because it is natural for dogs to not want to go potty where they lay down.

Pickup or delivery? How do we get our Rocky Ridge Acres puppy?
Once you have found that perfect puppy that was meant just for you, you can either pick up your puppy in person or have the puppy transported to you. Pickup would be our preference only because we get to meet the puppies new mommy and daddy in person. We totally understand when you can't make the trip to pick up your new puppy in person so that is why we have two different options of having the puppy transported to you.
Ground transportation:
Ground transportation:
- It usually costs around $500-650, but each trip needs to be quoted.
- If COVID restrictions don't apply it most times costs $550 to have your puppy fly to the airport near you. If the weather is too hot or too cold we may have to get a more expensive flight. Delta, United, and American Airlines all have a special program just for pet travels so they will be flying with one of these airlines if they fly to you. When a puppy flies it will come with a Health Certificate from the vet stating the puppy is healthy enough to fly and will come in a pet carrier. To schedule a flight I need the date you want the puppy to fly, name of person picking up the puppy, phone number, home address, email, and the airport you want the puppy to fly into with the airport code. I work with a travel agent that schedules all my flights. Once I get the itinerary from them I will send that to you. The day of the flight we take the puppy to the airport and personally check in the puppy. All you will need to pick up the puppy at your airport is your ID. When you have received your puppy we would like for you to contact us and let us know that the puppy has arrived safely. (I know it seems scary but we have flown many puppies this way and we have never had any puppies be affected by it in a negative way.)
- We do work with a flight nanny as well. She has always done an amazing job for us and always takes great care of our puppies while taking the puppy to its destination. Each individual trip needs to be quoted, but it usually costs $700-1,000.
Pricing and weights
We don't price our puppies until they are about 2 weeks old, but our puppies are usually $2,000-2,500.
Our puppies are usually 15-35 lbs. some stay a little smaller and some get a little bigger. When we give you a guess of what they will weigh as adults obviously we can only give educated guesses and can't guarantee adult weights. Same goes with coat type. We can only give educated guesses of what their adult coats will be like.
